Strategies and plans
DIAS applies the following planning, management, and reporting tools:
The Mission and Vision and Strategy describe the general method and the means whereby DIAS aims to attain the objectives stipulated in the Mission and Vision. Being the top level of the planning and management hierarchy, the strategy lists the overall developmental objectives of DIAS.
The 4-year action plan contains an outline of the mission, vision, basic values, and strategies as well as a description of DIAS’ focus areas and the specific aims at action level. Further, the action plan describes DIAS’ research departments.
Result contracts with 4-year perspectives are adjusted annually. The contract with the government department describes the objectives and results to be reached in that period.
The Framework and Activity Plans also have 4-year perspectives and are adjusted annually as far as production goals and significant milestones for the first year are concerned. This plan is DIAS’ central technical and economic planning and management tool at the tactical/operational level.
Result statements of the production goals of the Framework and Activity Plan are prepared annually.
The annual report is a record of DIAS’ professional and economic.
