Animal health economics in dairy cattle herds. Analysis of production related and economic effects of controlling disease and changing herd management. Main focus area has been economic consequences of paratuberculosis control in dairy herds. Effects are analysed by developing and using a herd-simulation model. The purpose of developing simulation-tools is decision support for farmers and advisors.
